Please read the product label before use. IMPORTANT TO KNOW: When starting giving probiotics, it's sometimes possible to notice side effects that are usually associated with digestive issues, such as diarrhea, excess gas, vomiting or constipation. This is due to the fact that the GI tract needs to adjusts to the sudden influx of good, probiotic bacteria. If side effects appear, please stop giving probiotics until the issues have cleared. Than start again with 1/4 of the recommended amount and build up very gradually over 3 weeks, to the full recommended amount, that is specified on the product label. IF YOUR DOG HAS ALLERGIES, please carefully consult the product label for any known allergens prior to use. To minimize the chance of allergic reactions in dogs prone to allergies, it is always advisable to introduce the product slowly, starting with ¼ of the recommended daily amount. Pay close attention to your dog and discontinue use immediately if there are any allergic reactions or a worsening of symptoms. If there are no reactions after several days, increase to ½ of the daily amount and continue to observe your dog. After several more days, you may begin to use the recommended daily amount. If you notice any kind of allergic reaction (itching, diarrhea, vomiting, skin rash, swelling, hives etc.) discontinue use immediately.
