Cardiovascular Research has been offering physiologic agents to healthcare professionals since 1981. Jonathan Rothschild, then a cardiovascular research medical writer, used his rigorous research to form the foundation for the company and its product innovations. In 1982, Cardiovascular Research established a subsidiary named Ecological Formulas, which addressed the growing need for products for people with food and chemical sensitivities. It was the first USA company to provide a vitamin C option from tapioca and a non-yeast GTF.
